Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Speedy Hire announces the appointment of James Morley as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.
James is a chartered accountant with some 25 years of experience as an executive Board member at both listed and private companies. Most recently, James was Chief Operating Officer of Primary Insurance Group (2006 - 2007). Prior to this, he was Group Finance Director at Cox Insurance Holdings (2002 - 2005), Group Finance Director at Arjo Wiggins Appleton plc (1999 - 2001) and Group Executive Director (Finance) at Guardian Royal Exchange (1990 - 1999). James started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co and was both Deputy Chief Executive and Group Finance Director at AVIS Europe plc, where he worked from 1976 to 1989.
James Morley currently holds Non Executive Directorships at Clarkson Plc, Costain Group plc, The Innovation Group plc and WS Atkins plc. In the past five years, he was Group Finance Director at Cox Insurance Holdings Plc (2002 - 2005) and held a Non Executive Directorship at The Bankers Investment Trust PLC (1994 - February 2008).
Speedy Hire confirms that there are no other disclosures to be made in respect of James Morley, pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
